Recoleta
This is considered one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. In the late 19th Century, many aristocratic families who lived in San Telmo moved to Recoleta’s parks, building elaborate European-style mansions. Through the years, Recoleta has preserved its upscale profile and is currently one of the favored districts for lodging and tourism. Aside from the five-star hotels, the apartments in Recoleta have also become very popular among tourists.
