Plaza de Mayo: This has been the political center since Buenos Aires was founded. Plaza de Mayo is located meters away from Downtown Buenos Aires, Florida Street, Puerto Madero and San Telmo. Tourists should also know most subway lines intersect here.
Avenida de Mayo: Inspired by the Gran Vía in Madrid, it is one of the most famous avenues in the country. It features art noveau and neoclassical-style buildings. The apartments in Montserrat located along Avenida de Mayo are near to the Parliament square, another tourist spot that is worth visiting.
